About the Role:
We're working with a leading organisation at the intersection of Media, AI, and Digital Innovation, developing intelligent systems that transform how content is created, personalised, distributed, and monetised.
As an AI Engineer, you'll design, build, and deploy AI-driven solutions that enhance creative workflows, improve audience engagement, and automate complex media processes. You'll collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Creative Technologists to bring cutting-edge AI capabilities into production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy AI models for content generation, tagging, summarisation, and recommendation
- Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and multimodal systems such as text, image, audio and video
- Implement ML pipelines for training, testing, and deploying models at scale
- Integrate foundation and LLM models with OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, Stability AI, into production workflows
- Work with media metadata, transcripts, and user interaction data to optimise content discovery and personalisation
- Collaborate with data and platform teams to ensure scalable, low-latency inference on cloud infrastructure AWS & Azure or GCP
- Research and prototype emerging AI tools that enhance creative efficiency such as generative video, dubbing and voice cloning
- Contribute to MLOps and DevOps practices, ensuring robust model monitoring and retraining processes
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in AI/ML engineering, ideally within media, entertainment, or creative tech environments
- Strong coding skills in Python and experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX
- Hands-on experience deploying LLMs, RAG systems, or multimodal AI models
- Familiarity with cloud-based AI services such as AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, Vertex AI and Bedrock
- Knowledge of vector databases Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS and Chroma
- Experience with MLOps tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL, and streaming media data such as Kafka and Kinesis
- Interest in creative AI application, content recommendation, generative media, computer vision, or speech synthesis
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with video/audio data and media production pipelines
- Exposure to agentic AI, LangChain, or prompt-orchestration frameworks
- Knowledge of metadata standards in broadcast or streaming such as EBUCore and IMF
- Background in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Applied Mathematics
