We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Administrator to join the Logistics Planning team at our Desford site.

Location: Desford (Onsite)

Hourly Rate: £21.21 per hour

Contract: 12 months (with strong potential for extension)

About the Role

Are you an organised and detail-focused administrator looking to grow your career in logistics?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Administrator to join the Logistics Planning team at our Desford site.

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Material Handling Equipment (MHE) fleet of over 200 vehicles, working closely with suppliers and internal departments to keep logistics operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support to the Logistics Planning team, including data entry, printing, laminating, and ordering goods.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Manage MHE fleet invoicing, checking and approving supplier invoices or raising disputes where necessary.
  • Raise purchase orders for vehicle repairs and services, maintaining accurate records using Excel.
  • Support with resolving invoicing disputes and ensuring timely supplier payments.
  • Coordinate service activities such as tyre fitting, windscreen replacements, and scheduled maintenance.
  • Follow company Health & Safety policies and uphold core values such as Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, and Teamwork.

About You - Essential Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective liaison with departments and suppliers.
  • Strong attention to detail - able to verify invoices accurately and manage payments promptly.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Desirable Skills

  • Understanding of MHE fleet operations (e.g. Reach Truck, Counterbalance).
  • Experience using Next Gen or Coupa Ordering/Invoicing Systems.
