Senior Account Manager - Public Sector (Data & AI)

Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Account Manager with a strong Public Sector background to drive growth across our clients Data & AI offering. This role will focus on developing strategic relationships, expanding existing accounts, and winning new business through established frameworks and large-scale public sector contracts. This is a key hire for the business, offering the opportunity to take ownership of a core sector and play a pivotal role in shaping our go-to-market strategy within Public Sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth across Public Sector accounts, focusing on Data & AI solutions
- Manage and expand existing client relationships while identifying new business opportunities
- Leverage frameworks and large public sector contracts to win and deliver new work
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through network, referrals, and proactive business development
- Develop sector-specific strategies aligned to client needs and market trends
- Engage senior stakeholders across government and public bodies
- Collaborate with internal delivery and leadership teams to ensure successful client outcomes
- Represent the business within the Public Sector ecosystem, building brand presence and credibility
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in an Account Manager or Sector Lead role within Public Sector
- Strong track record of selling Data & AI or technology solutions
- Experience working within a professional services or consulting environment
- Demonstrated success selling via frameworks e.g. G-Cloud, DOS, CCS or similar
- Established network within Public Sector organisations
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage complex sales cycles
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
