Our client are the number one datacentre transformation consultancy in the UK working with most prestigious end clients in London and due to the ongoing success they are looking for a proven Data Solution designer to join a team on one of the most high profile datacentre migration projects. You will have very strong client facing and presenting skills and a proven background in the following:
- Extensive experience with Vmware / Virtualisation architecture
- Experience in migration technologies and approaches
- Experience in CISCO Hyperflex or HCI (Hyper Converged Infrastructure)
- Able to produce detailed level designs and implementation artefacts and architecture documentation
- Able to conceptualise and articulate IT technologies and migration approaches
- Able to create technical documentation for migration process workflows
- Liaising with application developers, BAU support team, and End Users in order to facilitate the migration of key server based applications
Your technical skill set will cover the following areas:
- Virtualisation
- Storage
- Network design
- Security
- Server hosting
- Transformation
- IT/IT team
- 3rd party vendors
You must also be eligible for SC clearing or already hold this level of clearance.
