Position Overview...
Our client is looking for an EMEA Technical Trainer to deliver training on our clients products in the region. The primary responsibility of the role is to design, schedule and deliver technical certification training to our clients partners, customers, and employees. In addition to delivering training, the trainer will also be required to assist in the ongoing development of training materials.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver 2 – 4 courses (classroom and online) per month.
- Organize and lead training sessions
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop engaging content suitable for a variety of delivery methods (Face-to-face, webinar, or self-paced). This can include the development of PowerPoint presentations, online content, as well as hands on training exercise guides.
- Develop and maintain the training lab environment to a production standard
- Participate in implementations, as needed to build and maintain experience with the company’s products
- 25% to 50% international travel
Job requirements:
- Experience working as a Technical Trainer or other technical supporting activities in a software company
- Ability to conduct technical presentations and comfort in speaking to large groups of technical users
- Ability to train highly-technical participants while balancing the needs of less technical attendees
- Technical aptitude with the ability to learn and teach new technologies
- Ability to write detailed technical guides and build technical presentations
- Demonstrated knowledge of Information Security and/or Network Architecture concepts is an advantage
