ETL / Data Engineer – Permanent – Hybrid/Flexi Working model

Salary - £60,000 to £75,000 per annum + bonus and great benefits

We are working with a worldwide renowned organisation that operates within the finance vertical and due to their continued success, they are on an expansion mission within their Engineer department with another proven ETL/Data Engineer.

This will opportunity will see you being responsible across every iteration and stage of the ETL process!

Position Overview…

This role will make you responsible for building and automating data pipelines that ingest/transform data. You will be responsible for delivering new solutions and amending existing ones.  

You will be working with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and Engineers sharing ownership of the delivered products.

What you have…             

  • Ability to provide technical consultancy on ETL solutions and patterns instigating change.
  • Proven ability in authoring high-level design and solutions
  • Experience coding the defined changes into ETL and orchestration tools according to predefined standards.
  • Ability to assist with the deployment and release of changes across the route-to-live environments.
  • Support root cause analysis activities.
  • Work confidently independently or within a team.
  • Ability to perform complex data analysis and troubleshooting
  • Ensure that all changes are recorded under version control.


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ETL development.
  • Extensive knowledge of ETL concepts, tools and data structures
  • Expertise in the design, creation, management, and business use of large datasets.
  • Data Modelling
  • Strong SQL experience.
  • Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly.
  • Ability to perform complex data analysis and troubleshooting


- Hands-on exposure to Informatica, DBT, Control-M and Snowflake

- Data Vault 2.0 modelling
