You will partner with specific client groups, providing expert advice in all HR matters. Operating at both a strategic and an operational level, they are looking for someone who is just as comfortable defining strategy as carrying out administrative tasks.
Main role responsibilities:
- Partner with defined client groups to ensure they are able to effectively deliver against organisational goals
- Facilitation and implementation of Performance and Talent Management programmes
- Be a member of the leadership team for the client groups you partner with
- Coaching and mentoring line managers on HR policy, process and procedures, performance management and disciplinary processes
- Support line managers with preparation of HR documentation
- Coach and advise on absence cases
- Working with Client groups to recognise and recommend opportunities for restructure & organisational redesign
- Working in partnership with the In House Recruiter to fill vacancies with high calibre candidates in a timely manner
- Build and run reports as required by the business on HR activity/statistics
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are updated in line with relevant legislation and best practice
- Lead on HR improvement and compliance projects
Skills and Experience Required:
- CIPD qualified or working towards
- Previous experience at HR Officer/Business partner level
- Experience of managing a range of employee relations cases
- Articulate and able to influence senior leaders within the business
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation
- Adopts a collaborative style
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong communications skills
- Team player
