My client is a global leader within Big Data, IoT, ML and Analytics and are transforming the digital world. They are now looking for a Lead Data Solution Architect to work with new and existing enterprise clients across all industry sectors.
Skills & Responsibilities:
- Building strong relationships and evangelising the businesses industry leading solutions in Cloud and Data and innovating technologies
- Owning the solutioning process, acting as the design authority and technical lead / interface for their customer
- Drive Data modernization opportunities across a breadth of clients including discovery sessions, architectural sessions, design workshops, though leadership on target strategies for Data management and successful use cases across distributed Cloud
- Clearly articulating the business value to clients and internal stakeholders and designing an integrated operating model across technologies and processes
- An ability to think creatively and work consistently to identify, develop and close opportunities in Data and Cloud solutions
- A solid track record of using technology to succeed in winning complex sales opportunities to help catch new logos and grow existing accounts
- A strong team player able to work well in global teams to leverage the best solutions and approaches for prospects and client
- The ability to articulate a technical solution and their value to both technical and non-technical audiences using outstanding interpersonal & communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
You will:
- Perform the Lead Data Architect role on opportunities related to Digital Transformation, Data Analytics & Insights
- Define requirements and create architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing models
- Be a thought leader in advanced Data Analytics, AI/ML and IOT platforms & technologies
- Drive architectural decisions on best way to meet business analysts and end user needs, while determining the right technology stack of Azure, GCP, AWS Data & analytics ecosystem
- Estimation of Data Analytics solutions on Cloud platforms i.e., Microsoft Azure, GCP and other Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platforms
- Lead and own architectural aspects of designing and building multi-tenanted Data warehouses, business intelligence, predictive and prescriptive analytics and visualization platform
- Accountable for conceptual/logical/physical Data models, Data flow diagrams and visualize the information flow across the Global Data & Analytics landscape
- Responsible for verifying the detailed technical documents and ensuring solutions are delivered based on the architectural design
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years deep Cloud experience
- Minimum 3 years in pre-sales working with clients to build opportunities as well as responding to client tenders (such as RFPs)
- Experience in Big Data and traditional warehousing in both Cloud and on prem including Azure Synapse
- Experience in Data solutions across hyperscalers (Azure and AWS)
- Experience on Big Data distributions and toolsets (Hortonworks, Cloudera, Kafka, Spark, Cloud Data Flow, Pig, Hive, Sqoop, Oozie etc. & RDBMS & NoSQL DB)
- Experience in DBs (MySQL / Oracle), Columnar DBs (Info bright), ETL / ETL tools (e.g., Pentaho, Informatica Power Center, Matillion, Streamsets etc)
- Proven experience in AI and ML technologies (as well as being hands on with Python or similar tools)
