Our client is an ambitious and rapidly growing IT services firm which leads change, strips out cost and safeguards information. They provide data centre, workspace, cloud, security, and network services to some of the biggest global organisations in the public and private sector across the UK and the world.

Their established Cyber Security Practice cover security assessments of various guises and transform their customer’s cyber security Target Operating Models, to managing and running security services as a trusted partner.

You Will:

  • Support a range of customer’s operational security managed services ensuring compliance to various security frameworks such as; ISO27001, NIST, PSN and Cyber Essentials to name a few
  • As a strategic partner to our customers you will be supporting them through their cyber security journey
  • Mentor members of the security practise to support the development of those less experienced than yourself
  • Assist with pre-sales activities, providing technical security oversight to our client’s sales team and helping to identify new business opportunities
  • Chair and run security forums and workshops with customers presenting security metrics in a business focused manner
  • Have a strong focus on a high level of customer satisfaction and delivery of managed services that provide real value to our clients
  • Be used to collaborating across multiple resources and managing multiple workstreams, providing our customers with a single point of contact
  • Drive remedial activities that are identified through a number of mechanisms such as vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and risks that have been identified
  • Manage and maintain documentation to appropriate standards such as ISMS

 

Essential Experience and Skills:

  • Good understanding of either ISO27001, NIST, Government security requirements such as Information Assurance Standards, Good Practise Guides and PSN
  • Experience in managing security incidents on behalf of customers and working with Security Operations Centres (SOCs) to resolve security incidents
  • Experience in chairing security forums and security meetings
  • Client facing experience
  • Eligible for UK Security Clearance
  • Ability to clearly articulate cyber security risks against business outcomes and provide advice on the remedial actions that should be undertaken
  • Used to managing and collaborating multiple team members and reporting progress to customers

 

Optional Experience:

  • Relevant security certification in either CISSP or CISM
  • Experience as an Operational Security Manager or Security Consultant
