In the next stage of their growth, we’re looking for a Sales Engineer in Germany, who has experience in the Data Management, Backup & Recovery, Virtualisation, or Storage space to join their team on the next stage of their adventure!

Position Overview

  • You will join a team of passionate Sales Engineer, who love to solve customers problems with cutting edge, data management technology.
  • You will be active in all parts of the technology sales lifecycle, from discovery, solution design, presentation of solutions, risk management, high level design, hands on software demonstrations and managing POC’s and RFP’s.
  • They will give you full ownership of our clients customer base to develop and maintain a clear preference for their solutions, along side the sales team.
  • Collaborating closely with the Sales team to support revenue opportunity and drive new business and cross-sell opportunity for our clients products, solutions and services.

Key Skills

  • You love working in Technical Pre-Sales and get a kick out of building solutions to help solve Data Management problems!
  • Experience working in a Pre-Sales based role, in the Data Management, Backup & Recovery, Cloud, Storage, or Virtualisation T industry  
  • You have excellent presentation, white-boarding & negotiation skills from IT-Management to C-Level
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in German and English
  • Any experience with VMware, Oracle DB, SQL Server or Storage Management is a bonus, but is not essential
  • A passion for technology. Someone who is always curious to develop and learn, whilst also not being afraid to take on new challenges
  • Is able to travel 1-2 days per week to customers in Germany, the rest can be work from home or at the office (your choice!)
