Our client has a proven history of providing both cloud and hybrid-based data management solutions, for enterprise customers across the world.

In the next stage of their growth, we’re looking for a Sales Engineering Lead, DACH who can be based in either Germany or Austria, who has experience working in cloud based solutions.

Position Overview

  • You will be leading a team of passionate Sales Engineer, who love to solve customers problems with cutting edge, data management technology.
  • You will lead on the daily activities of a team of Sales Engineers driving, designing, optimizing and selling new and existing Data Management from edge to core and a clear focus on cloud.
  • Leading, mentoring, coaching, developing and motivating a strong team of SEs and retaining top talent
  • Professional, hands-on Project Management experience with a proven record of success in Enterprise Environments
  • Be actively supporting deals and initiatives with a hands-on mentality 
  • Drive the SE driven initiatives and engagements on revenue opportunities with Customers out of your team
  • Own and drive the operational business plan from a pre-sales perspective with Veritas’ Top Channel Partners, Alliances, System Integrators and Cloud Service Providers
  • Measure the success of the business with a data driven mentality to collaborate in improving and optimizing the operational engine

Key Skills

  • Hands-on experience as a Sales Engineer, Consultant, Cloud Architect, or similar
  • Experience working in a cloud-based organisation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives at any one time and priorities on business demands
  • Experience as Team Lead in an Enterprise Pre-Sales Organization or you have some Lead exposure and want to move into this type of role
  • Exposure to working on people development
  • Technical background combined with an MBA or equivalent degree
  • A passion for technology. Someone who is always curious to develop and learn, whilst also not being afraid to take on new challenges
