We are interested in speaking with IT professionals who have a strong Networking background, who want to work in a diverse role with complex trouble-shooting and project work! 

 

Position Overview 

 

You will join a team of passionate techies, who love to take on new challenges and knowledge share to always improve each other’s technical ability.

 

This will be a fast-paced environment where no day is the same. You will act as a 3rd line escalation point for the 1st and 2nd line teams, solving complex networking issues. 

 

You will also collaborate closely with Technical Leads and Delivery Consultants on projects, including implementations and configurations. 

This role has no technical ceiling, and you will have full rein and ownership. 

 

Key Skills 

  • You’re a natural IT trouble-shooter. You love to solve complex networking issues and can demonstrate a strong troubleshooting process and methodology
  • A background in either a Network Support, Engineer, or Administrator position.
  • Experience supporting or administrating Cisco routers and Switches  
  • A good understanding of structured cabling or Wi-Fi connectivity e.g., Cisco routers, switches, Wireless Access Points (WAP), and general networking protocols
  • Understanding of key network protocols and theory e.g., STP, HSRP, RIP, BGP, OSPF, LLDP
  • A CCNA or CCNP certification would be ideal, or equivalent industry experience
  • A good understanding of the Windows Operating Systems
  • Any experience with Cisco Firepower or Umbrella configuration and administration would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Any experience with Veeam or similar backup software would be beneficial, but not essential
