Project Manager - Full-Time (Hybrid - Buckinghamshire / Berkshire - London - Australia - USA)

Travel Requirements: You must be able to travel to Australia or the USA for special projects. This can be 6 - 12 weeks per year.

We have a unique opportunity working for a fast-paced global FinTech company on a greenfield programme. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and co-ordinate multiple workstreams critical to multiple tech products for a major transformation programme.

Working in the FinTech space your role will be to co-ordinate card fulfilment, e-wallets, contactless payment systems, fraud screening, and ongoing fraud monitoring operations. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage complex projects, ensure smooth operational support, and collaborate across regions, including travel to Australia and the USA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workstream Management: Lead and track non-Scrum workstreams, ensuring timely delivery of card fulfilment, e-wallets, contactless payment systems, fraud screening, and ongoing fraud monitoring.
  • Operational Support: Provide ongoing operational support, addressing issues and optimising processes to maintain seamless service delivery.
  • Special Projects: Manage special projects in the AU and USA regions, including planning, execution, and travel coordination as needed.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Utilize tools like Jira, Confluence, and FigJam to document progress, manage tasks, and maintain comprehensive project records.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing complex projects within the financial services or technology sectors.
  • Tool Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation; experience with FigJam (or Miro) for collaborative planning and Gantt chart creation.
  • Gantt Chart Utilisation: Ability to create and manage Gantt charts to visualise project timelines, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Cross-Regional Coordination: Experience in managing projects across multiple regions, with a willingness to travel to AU and USA as required.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Desirable Attributes

  • Agile Methodology Familiarity: Understanding of Agile principles and experience working in Agile environments.
  • Financial Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with financial services operations, including payment systems and fraud prevention measures.
  • Leadership Qualities: Ability to lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving project success.

  • Primary Location: Near Beaconsfield, UK.
  • Travel Requirements: You must be able to travel to Australia and the USA for special projects. This can be 6 - 12 weeks at a time.
