🚀 Business Development Manager

We're now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help us grow our client base and open new doors across the UK. This is a national role - based out of our Nottingham HQ (just one day per week) - where you'll lead strategic engagement with organisations that are ready to transform.
If you're commercially sharp, consultative, and experienced in long-cycle, multi-stakeholder deals, this is a high-impact role with the freedom to truly shape your pipeline and your success.
💼 What You'll Be Doing
Own and grow new business opportunities across target sectors (private and public)
Build and manage a strategic pipeline of opportunities across the UK
Identify and engage key decision-makers - from IT leaders to transformation heads and operational execs
Position digital transformation solutions that solve real business pain points - from platform change to automation, cloud, data, and beyond
Work collaboratively with technical consultants, project teams, and SMEs to shape tailored proposals
Lead the full sales cycle: discovery, qualification, proposal, presentation, negotiation, and close
Track and report on pipeline, performance, and market feedback in line with sales strategy
Support wider go-to-market efforts, including events, campaigns, partnerships, and marketing insight
✅ What We're Looking For
6+ years' experience in B2B business development, solution sales, or consulting sales
Proven track record of closing new business in IT, consulting, SaaS, or digital services
A clear understanding of digital transformation challenges - both technical and cultural
Strong consultative sales approach with experience in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
Ability to build trust and credibility quickly with senior clients
Strategic thinker with hands-on delivery and commercial drive
Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable with autonomy and responsibility
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
