We are seeking a dedicated Emissions Compliance Engineer to join our UK Emissions and Power Systems Regulatory Compliance (EPRC) team. About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Emissions Compliance Engineer to join our UK Emissions and Power Systems Regulatory Compliance (EPRC) team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an interest in emissions regulations, compliance, and engineering, looking to make a meaningful impact in a global setting.

As an Emissions Compliance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet stringent global emissions regulations. You will work closely with international teams, resolving complex regulatory issues, and contributing to the development of compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of global emissions regulations, particularly in relation to diesel engines.
  • Champion proactive engagement with regulatory compliance requirements across multiple territories.
  • Contribute to resolving complex emissions compliance issues for a wide range of products.
  • Support the UK EPRC group to ensure compliance processes are aligned with international teams, particularly the US-based certification and compliance teams.
  • Ensure effective execution of compliance processes, working closely with international teams to deliver consistent results.
  • Create and refine process documentation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and submit conformance reports to relevant governmental agencies.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • A foundational understanding of emissions legislative requirements.
  • A strong engineering background with knowledge of engines (degree in engineering preferred).
  • Proficiency with IT software packages such as Alteryx, to enhance process efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex regulatory issues and provide clear, actionable guidance.
  • A strong moral compass with a commitment to high standards and doing things the right way.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
