Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Training & Engagement Lead to support a consultancy's client in shaping and delivering its AI learning strategy. This is a strategic, directive, and ownership‑focused role, responsible for defining AI training pathways, driving adoption, and leading engagement programmes that enable colleagues to confidently and responsibly use AI tools.
You will work closely with AI specialists, senior stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to build organisational capability, uplift AI literacy, and embed best practice across the business.
Onsite presence in Sheffield is required three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and lead the creation of high‑quality, tailored AI training plans (via the AI Academy), ensuring colleagues receive practical, hands‑on learning with AI tools
- Enable teams across the organisation to build role‑specific confidence in using AI, helping them understand how AI can enhance productivity and improve outcomes
- Oversee and expand the internal AI Ambassador Network, driving a strong community of practice and promoting continuous learning
- Collaborate with internal and external AI experts to strengthen capability, provide guidance, and ensure alignment with best‑practice AI adoption
- Create compelling presentations, resources, and communications that highlight AI opportunities, responsible‑use principles, and real business value
- Lead and coordinate a pipeline of AI engagement events, gathering feedback, measuring impact, and continually improving the AI literacy roadmap
- Stay up to date with emerging AI and GenAI developments to ensure training and engagement strategies remain modern, relevant, and effective
- Provide strategic oversight of documentation, toolkits, reports, and adoption materials to support the wider AI enablement agenda
Required Experience
- Proven experience leading AI, digital, or technology training programmes
- Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI concepts
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate, influence, and guide both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive adoption at scale
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities, ideally with experience building communities or running large‑scale engagement initiatives
- High ethical standards and familiarity with governance and compliance within regulated environments
- Experience within consultancy environments is highly advantageous
- Financial Services experience is beneficial

- Experience working alongside data, AI, or advanced analytics teams
