Project Manager

Peterborough | Onsite | 12 Month Contract | £40.73ph / £332.00dr (Inside IR35)

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a busy project team supporting a diverse portfolio of projects across a large engineering and manufacturing environment.

This is a great opportunity to work across multiple business areas, take ownership of project delivery and gain exposure to a wide range of projects and stakeholders.

The Role
You'll be responsible for supporting projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring they stay on track, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:
*Managing and monitoring a portfolio of projects
*Developing and maintaining project schedules using Microsoft Project
*Tracking project progress, performance, risks, issues and actions
*Managing project budgets, costs and resources
*Producing regular project reports for senior stakeholders
*Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive delivery
*Maintaining risk registers, action logs and scope change records
*Facilitating project meetings and planning sessions
*Identifying project issues and recommending solutions
*Supporting and mentoring project leaders where required
*Producing project-related financial and performance reports

What We're Looking For:
*3+ years' project management experience
*Microsoft Project experience is essential, alongside strong Excel skills
*Strong Excel and data manipulation/reporting skills
*Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks and resources
*Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
*Experience influencing stakeholders and driving project delivery
*Experience in engineering, manufacturing, product development, R&D or similar environments is preferred
*IT project management backgrounds will also be considered where experience can translate into a non-IT project delivery environment
*Degree or relevant project management qualification is desirable, but not essential

Additional Information:
Travel: Occasional UK, European and potentially international travel may be required
