Technical Support Consultant - Print Management Software
Salary: €48,000 - €55,000 per annum

Are you a technically minded IT professional with experience in Print Management Solutions?
We're working with an established international software business specialising in print management, managed print services and document solutions, looking for a talented Technical Support Consultant to join its growing European team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience supporting print management software who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with customers and getting involved in technical installations, consultancy and pre-sales activities.
Flexible working available! Depending on your location, you can work from the Almere office or remotely from your home office, with occasional travel to customer sites for installations and training.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a varied, hands-on technical role where no two days will be quite the same!
- Providing technical support to customers and reseller partners via phone, email and remote support sessions.
- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting print management and scanning software.
- Supporting solutions including PaperCut MF/NG, alongside other managed print and document management technologies.
- Troubleshooting Windows print servers, print queues, printer drivers and connectivity issues.
- Investigating complex technical problems, including reproducing issues in virtual test environments.
- Working with Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Providing technical guidance and expertise during pre-sales discussions.
- Delivering product demonstrations, webinars and technical training sessions.
- Supporting on-site installations and customer workshops across the Benelux region.
- Collaborating with technical colleagues across Europe to share knowledge and resolve issues.
- Assisting with internal IT infrastructure and technical support when required.
What We're Looking For
We're particularly interested in candidates with a strong technical support background and practical experience within the print management or managed print services industry.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Hands-on experience with PaperCut MF/NG or similar print management software.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server and Windows client environments.
- Good knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows print servers, print queues and printer driver deployments.
- Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP and firewall connectivity.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a logical, methodical approach to resolving technical issues.
- Confidence communicating with customers and explaining technical solutions.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider technical team.
- Fluent Dutch and a good working level of English, both written and spoken.
Experience That Would Really Stand Out
We'd be particularly keen to speak with candidates who have experience in:
- PaperCut MF, NG, Hive or Pocket
- Managed Print Services (MPS) and print management software.
- Alternative print solutions such as uniFLOW, Equitrac or YSoft SAFEQ.
- Multifunction printer environments, including Canon, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Kyocera or HP.
- Print Deploy, Find-Me Printing, Mobility Print and scanning workflows.
- Embedded applications and card reader integrations.
- Microsoft Azure, virtualisation technologies, macOS or Linux.
- Technical pre-sales, customer demonstrations or delivering technical training.
A PaperCut certification would be a real advantage, although it isn't essential.
